On the 25th, actress Nagasawa Masami got an award at the 10th "Best Swimmer Awards" ceremony sponsored by the Japan Swimming Club Association.
Nagasawa got the award for her outstanding butterfly swimming performance in the 2007 TV Asahi special dorama ‘Ganges Kawa de Butterfly’. "After that scene, a young Indian man came to help me with a swimming ring. I love swimming, so I’m really happy about this award." She commented with a smile.
Actor Hayami Mokomichi also got honored with an award for his swimming race performance in the 2006 movie "Rough" that starred Nagasawa Masami as well. "It’s an honor for me. I hope that I’ll get enough chances keep on swimming from now on. I also would like to swim through all the stormy seas in this world." He said and showed his dazzling white teeth. The third one who got an award was the comedian ‘Shizu-chan’ (Yamasaki Shizuyo) who is part of the comic duo "Nankai Candies". In a variety program he made an successful dive from a 10m platform. "5 meters would already be my limit. I have a great respect of Yamasaki-san for jumping from 10 meters." Nagasawa commented. "I thought I was going to die," he replied. "However, I can’t loose against Masami in a swimsuit!" He earned a lot of laughter for this comment. In total the association honored 6 people with the award.

Wow, Masami looks awsome again!
I especially like how she bends her knees when accepting the award to keep the height-difference between herself and the guy who’s handing out the award as small as possible.
