Last week the 2nd commercial with the new image character for "Calpis Water", Kawashima Umika went online on its official site before going to get aired on TV countrywide as of July 25 (youtube clip below). The new commercial is called "Ganbare Hatsukoi Ikioi" .
In the commercial Kawashima is holding two bottles of Calpis Water and gathers all her strength to ask the boy played by Nakamura Aoi to drink it together. However, just when she’s about to ask, a friend of him pops up and she eventually ends up giving the two bottles to both of them instead of drinking them with her crush.
Goto Kumiko, Nagasawa Masami, BoA and so on. Up to now, Calpis only appointed celebs with a fresh image for their Calpis Water commercials. The 15 years old Kawashima also called attention to herself for her pure acting like for example in her most recent dorama "Aishiteru". In the commercial she now also did a great job of portraying the bittersweet first love. Fresh young singer and songwrite Abe Mao once again provided the image song for the commercial just like in the first one.
On the official site, you can also find a secret story behind the commercial and a making-of to see how it was like to film at 30°C. Kawashima and Nakamura also made a video interview each and talk about their impressions.
Starting on July 25, the commercial will also be watchable on TV.
