I got the chance to make a guest appearance in the 2nd episode of TBS’ "Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Kōen Mae Hashutsujo" (8/8 – 19:56~)
It was my first time making a guest appearance in a dorama and I was quite nervous about it, but that dorama stars Katori Shingo-san whom I already worked with in "Zatoichi The Last" 3 months ago, so I really looked forward to work with him again.
The filming didn’t take longer than 4 days, but it was still enjoyable and fun at the set! *laughs*
It was kinda sad when we finished every scenes for that episode.
In the beginning I also was really perplexed and surprised, because Katori’s character was completely different compared to Zatoichi back then.
The balance between director Hanabusa and Katori-san, and that kind and fun athmosphere those 2 very close friends show at the set, I think that both things can also be seen in the finished episodes.
It’s definitely a dorama that is able to bring a very bright smile on the faces of whoever is watching it.
I watch it myself every week, too ★
