Actor Takeda Tetsuya (60) has been the image character for "Akai Kitsune Udon" for 31 years now and for the newest commercial he got help from young actress Eikura Nana (21). It was the first time the two of them met each other in person and Takeda sure was amazed about Eikura’s distintive model style. "Such long arms and legs, everything about us is completely different. How can two living things of the same kind be so different?"
Before the filming, Eikura was all nervous in front of the experienced actor Takeda, but you couldn’t notice the age at all when they finally started the filming. "The whole filming felt like I’m sitting next to a teacher," she commented, referring to the nice teacher-student athmosphere at the set.
The two different editions will start airing on the 17th, but as a fan of Eikura or a fan of kawaii joyuu in general, you should watch the news clip at the end of this post. It features the making-of, an interview and the actual commercials.
