Today was the official presentation of Fuji TV’s "Tokyo DOGS" that’s starting on the 19th and the most interesting information from the event seems to be the big affection that’s going on between Oguri Shun and Mizushima Hiro. Sanspo even was funny enough to call it a "prohibited love"…
The chemistry of the "Tokyo DOGS" cast seems to be more than just amazing. It’s quite a change to see some "love" going on behind the scenes of a dorama that doesn’t involve the heroine. It’s Oguri and Mizushima’s own fault for praising each other in so many odd ways. Oguri described Mizushima as "a very honest and polite person." On their flight back from the set in America, they saw the sleeping faces of each other on the plane and Oguri was simply overwhelmed. "His face was so pretty. How great would it be to be Hiro." This kind of talked continued for a little while and involved other interesting comments such as "his skin is so smooth and clean", "he’s so sweet" and other heart-throbbing disclosures. "We might even continue to hang out after the filming." They said. Mizushima should be careful not to make his wife Ayaka too jealous.
The heroine Yoshitaka Yuriko also had the chance to say a few words at the event filled with love. "It’s really not that easy to be surrounded by Oguri and Mizushima all the time!" Yoshitaka also seems be much more of a airhead lately. Reporters asked her to tell something about their stay in New York and her story was really unique. "I went shopping, when suddenly there was this ghost and approached me from behind." Yeah, right. "Yoshitaka-san is a strange fellow, no doubt about it." Oguri commented on the story. "I’m not, I’m just an ordinary person." She replied back. Reporters also wanted to get an update of her relationship with Tamaki Hiroshi, but she just smiled and answered, "This has nothing to do with this interview."
There’s another interesting story from their filming in New York. Apparently Oguri was quite surprised about the guns they used at the set. "The gunpowder they use here is 10 times the amount of what we use in Japan. It really surprised me! I also had to wear the gun belt for the role every day." Further he revealed that he is already tired of playing his role, thanks to that heavy gun belt and the uncomfortable suit. "Real detectives have my respect for what they are going through every day."
