Popular actress Miyazaki Aoi (24) and veteran actress Otake Shinobu (52) will appear together in a new movie called "Okan no Yomeiri". The filming is currently underway in the Kyoto film studio of Toei and it is being directed by Mipo Oh ("Sakaike no Shiawase").
The movie will be a classic story of a mother (Otake) and her daughter (Miyazaki) who suddenly wants to get married. She brings home a 30-year-old blond man (Kiritani Kenta) and tells her mother that she is going to marry him out of the blue.
It’s the first time for Miyazaki to work together with Otake and she’s clearly excited:
"She’s a huge senior and a really cute person. Rather than feeling excited, I’m more like completely overwhelmed by her."
The movie is planned to open this fall in Japan.
