Today the cast of "Nodame Cantabile" went to the Roppongi Toho Cinema in Tokyo for a preview screening and stage greeting event.
Nodame has a great cast with 11 big names on its list, so it's always a great sight to see all of them on one stage. Another thing that's interesting is to check out their fashion choices for such events and this time two ladies really stood out from the rest, Yamada Yuu (25) and Becky (26). Yamada went for the sexy route with a short black dress and tights. "You look like a smartly dressed pro wrestler," Becky jokingly described her outfit. Of course that's not just because of her dress and tights, Yamada was actually also wearing some very heavy(?) bracelets that looked similar to those from the manga "Fist of the North Star" (Hokuto no Ken). She denied that it was her concept for today's outfit and was a bit taken aback, but she still was able to laugh about Becky's comment.
Now when you look at Becky's own fashion that day you start to wonder why Yamada didn't reply something like "You are a fine one to talk". Nodame director Takeuchi Hideki eventually scolded her, "Becky-san, can you please stop looking like some character from Alice in Wonderland?" He said that because Nodame and Alice are going to open on the same day in Japan and Becky's outfit really looked like a walking promotion poster for the latter. Of course they were all just joking around.
The second of the two Nodame Cantabile movies is finally going to open on April 17.

I found some other pictures of the event and Ueno Juri was wearing a peculiar flashy dress, according to her own style. Apart from fashion, it must have been great seeing on stage, all together, Tamaki Hiroshi, Ueno Juri, Eita and so on.
Her dress was still normal compared to Yamada and Becky. ^^
