Kaho was a chief for one day

Actress Kaho (19), starring in the upcoming movie "Kinako" about a police dog and its trainer, was able to be the chief of the Aichi police for one day and promoted a campaign to prevent purse snatching.

Near Nagoya station is a shopping mall with around 200 people shopping at the same time. Some of them eventually walk back home when it's dark already and that's when most of the purse snatching happens. Kaho came up with an idea to prevent that from happening, "I think you should try to bind your bag to your arm/clothes in order not to get robbed."

During the PR-Event there also was a short practice demonstration of the local police dogs who received a lot of applause for clearing all of the hurdles.

The movie is about a police dog as well and is based on a true story featuring a young girl (Kaho) who wants to become a police dog trainer and the dog Kinako, an 8 year-old Labrador Retriever, who wants to become a police dog. Kinako failed the test for police dogs 6 times, but she and her trainer didn't give up and so Kinako eventually became a police dog. Before the movie she already was featured in a TV show on a local TV channel. Her popularity steadily increased among local residents who soon started to give her the nickname "apprentice police dog".

"Kinako" featuring Kaho and Kinako will open in Japan on August 14.
