There is yet another new digital camera with a gorgeous new image character. Actress Ayase Haruka (25) has been appointed as Panasonic's "LUMIX" image character and in her first commercial she is going to make us buy another new digital camera by kissing and touching us viewers.
Ayase about having a kiss scene without a partner, "At first I thought it would be really embarrassing, but… it actually wasn't embarrassing at all when we filmed that scene. I guess I'm used to make a lot of strange expressions in dramas."
Not only is she kissing into the camera, she even tries to touch and has some fun with a very cute rabbit. Why is she doing all that cute stuff? The new Lumix camera has a touch display and she's perfectly demonstrating that feature in the commercial. Basically there are only two buzzwords throughout the commercial, "Tacchu~" and "Chu~!" She's ending the cuteness overload with an actual lipstick mark on our TV and a final shot together with the rabbit. The kissing/lipstick mark scene had to be redone around 24 times until the director gave his okay.
"The up-close shot of my face is a bit embarrassing," Ayase eventually admitted with an embarrassed grin after watching the final version. "I really only had to kiss into the camera, but it was difficult to get the right timing. The camera was moving towards me and I was moving my head as well. We had to redo that scene many times," she added. About her adorable acting partner she said, "The scenes together with the rabbit were really cute though. I enjoyed the filming a lot, because you don't get the opportunity to work with a rabbit every day."
