The beautiful young model and actress Kiritani Mirei (20) got herself her first solo commercial for Bourbon's "Almondrush" chocolate.
What stands out in the commercial despite Kiritani herself is the fact that they are adding "-sh" to every word. "Otsukaresama desh~! I hope high school students will start using phrases like that, for example when returning from their club activities. "I hope -shu~! will become the buzzword of the year," she said while dreaming for the Buzzword Award of 2010.
In the commercial she's giving off a cool atmosphere, glaring at the camera with her stylish clothes and accessory. About the filming she said with a smile, "At first I was really nervous, my heart was racing and I didn't know what to do, but later I got used to it and started to have a lot of fun."
She then added how exciting and surprising it was to see herself in the final commercial, since it features her in a more mature look unlike the other roles she got to play so far. She said, "It didn't look like me at all! So far I always had to create a soft atmosphere, but it felt really fresh seeing myself with such cool expressions."
During the filming for such commercial you usually end up having to eat a lot of the product, but in Kiritani's case she didn't mind eating the delicious chocolate at all. "I was really surprised, it's way too delicious! I couldn't stop myself from eating during the filming. I received some chocolate as a present after the filming, but I liked it so much that I already ate everything on my way home," she explained playfully.
