Actress Nakama Yukie (30) will be starring in a new original 2-hour suspense drama this December, Fuji TV revealed today.
The drama will be called “Mesen” and is based on an original story written by Amano Setsuko who just debuted 3 years ago at the age of 60. It features Nakama as wheelchair-bound handicapped woman who gets involved into a mysterious serial murder case. They promise a suspense-packed story and a fascinating performance of Nakama, very different to her trademark characters she portrayed in “Trick” and “Gokusen”. [...]

The weekly pictorial magazine “FRIDAY” reports in their newest issue that actress Nakama Yukie (30) and actor Tanaka Tetsushi (44) seem to be in a relationship after all.
Last year in November it was first rumored that the two of them are an item, but back then both of their agencies denied it. Now the magazine was able to take a picture of Tanaka, when he was entering Nakama’s apartment with a mask and a cap to hide his face in mid-September. [...]

Actress Inoue Mao (23) has been chosen to star in a movie adaptation of Kakuta Mitsuyo’s popular novel “Youkame no Semi.” Narushima Izuru is directing the film, scheduled for release in 2011.
Inoue plays Erina, a young woman who was abducted as a baby by her father’s mistress Kiwako (Nagasaku Hiromi). Kiwako raises Erina as her own child up until her arrest four years later. Erina grows up but has no place to truly call home, and she ends up carrying on her own affair with a married man and becoming pregnant. [...]
