All the big TV stations revealed the stories and casts of their upcoming doramas and now Oricon made a survey to find out which dorama the viewers anticipate the most this upcoming season. "Liar Game 2" is the big winner of this survey, followed by Oguri Shun’s "Tokyo DOGS" and the business dorama "Fumo Chitai" (all on Fuji TV). "Liar Game" starring actress Toda Erika about the results, "In return I’d like to reach the viewers with a lot of self-confidence, too."

The biggest reason for the high ranking of "Liar Game 2" was its phenomenal first season back in 2007. People can’t wait to see more of the intellectual wars happening in this dorama and how the stories and characters are going develop from now on. "Everyone from the crew has a lot of confidence and is like ‘A new one! It will be so nice and cool!’ ", Toda reported from the set. She’s quite happy that people are still anticipating the continuation of this dorama. "It’s been 2 years now and it makes me very happy that there’s still such a big anticipation", She said.

There’s a lot of anticipation for the 2nd place, "Tokyo DOGS" with Oguri Shun as well. "It’s unusual for a detective dorama to air on the Monday-09pm time slot, so I’m really looking forward to this one." To quote one of the people from the survey. Seems like Fuji TV is on the right track with both, fresh new ideas and the continuation of old successful stories.

No surprise about the 3rd place either, after all "Fumo Chitai" is based on a long novel by Yamasaki Toyoko who also provided the original for the immensely successful dorama series "Shiroi Kyoto" back in 1979 and 2003. Karasawa Toshiaki is going to the starring actor, but the cast includes more big names such as Yanagiba Toshiro. A human dorama that is most likely going to have a very deep and great story as well as an amazing cast always tends to be very high on the list of the general dorama viewers in Japan and Yamasaki’s stories don’t tend to disappoint them either.
