Today actor Sakurai Sho (28) and actress Miyazaki Aoi (24) have finished filming for the movie “Kamisama no Karte”. Having finished his first role as a doctor, the ending of the filming visibly took a load of his mind. “I’ve suffered from all kind of worries, I’ve been nothing but worried for one month and a half,” he said and teared up.

The story is based on the novel of the same name by Natsukawa Sousuke (32) who is actually working as a doctor in Matsumoto, Nagano. Sakurai plays the role of the internist Kurihara Ichito who is trying to tackle the medical care of Matsumoto. Miyazaki plays his wife. [...]

The cast and staff of the upcoming action movie “SP: The Motion Picture” appeared at the 23rd Tokyo International Film Festival for yet another promotional event to increase the anticipation even more.

Starring actor Okada Junichi (29) about the movie: “So far there hasn’t been a single action movie set in the modern-day Japan. While thinking that this movie could influence the Japanese movie industry, we’ve worked hard to create some new kind of action movie.” [...]

Today the movie “Raiou” (The Lightning Tree) starring Okada Masaki (21) and Aoi Yuu (25) opened in Japan. Both of the actors and the director Hiroki Ryuuichi attended the stage greeting event in Tokyo and were able to listen to a live performance of the movie’s theme song “Kokoro” by singer Maika (20).
Okada and Aoi both teared up when sharing a few words about the movie and all the effort they have put into this project. Okada stepped forward first and said, “I’ve just realized how happy I am that I was able to be involved in this project.” [...]
